Chor Choir Choeur is an on-going project that focuses on the process-oriented facets of choir practice. It comprises a collection of compositions by Siedl/Cao for multiple voices in specific local contexts and media combinations. The overarching aim of Chor Choir Choeur is to construct an architecture that enables the natural unfolding of human expression.
This project delves into the process of self-exploration within different social contexts, the intricate dynamics of human interaction within a group, and the exchange of ideas and aesthetic sensibility. In its pursuit of rediscovering the essence of music-making and the broader role of art in society, Chor Choir Choeur remains open to all who wish to explore artistic expression through their voices, regardless of how similar or different they may be from one another.
In the era of digital communication and AI development, we wonder what make us a human being. At the heart of this project lies the voice—a deliberate choice grounded in the belief that it is the most intimate and personal medium through which to convey thoughts, memories, physicality, personalities, and emotions.

About Green Wind Choir
Green Wind Choir was founded in September 2019 from the dream of conductor Nguyen Hai Yen: bringing choir to everyone, using choir music to connect people together, together creating a community. The community has a rich spiritual life, bringing good values to society, the living environment and each choir member. Currently, the Gio Xanh choir has nearly 200 members, from 6 to 86 years old, regardless of gender, profession, religion… sharing the same passion for singing and love for choral art.
